  • Natural Cure for Hair Loss

    Studies show that men tend to lose hair more than women, scientifically because of the dreaded male pattern baldness. However, thinning hair and hair loss remains a common issue among women. Before we go on with the treatments, let us talk a little about the problem per se and its causes.

    Let me lay the facts to you. Normally, hair loss starts at 30, but it can be a lot earlier than that. You lose around 50-100 strands of hair a day. It sounds alarming, but it is not. Once the hair loss increases to 300 strands a day, that is the time you should worry as you might be experiencing a health condition known as alopecia.

    Common Causes for Hair Loss   

      • Physical Stress/Physical Trauma
      • Pregnancy
      • Too much Vitamin A
      • Protein insufficiency
      • Heredity

    You see, there is a wide range of reasons to develop hair loss, which advises that there are also different ways to treat it.

    On the other hand, we are looking into herbal remedies to avoid any side effects and to assure safe use.

     

    Amla

    This fruit is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants which makes it an effective solution for hair loss problems. Moreover, regular consumption is also beneficial to the whole human body.

    What to do:

      • Extract juice from amla fruit. You may also use amla powder from herbal stores.
      • Mix amla juice or powder with freshly squeezed lime. Ratio 1:1.
      • Massage to scalp and leave until dry.
      • Wash with warm water.

    Coconut

    Well, coconut has always been associated with hair care to make your hair smooth and silky. It has elements like proteins, essential fats, potassium, and iron that aid in healthy growth of hair. Regularly massaging coconut onto scalp can help hair grow stronger from roots to tips.

    What to do:

      • Grate coconut.
      • Add some hot water to squeeze out the milk.
      • Apply on area where thinning or balding is noticed.
      • Let sit for the rest of the night.
      • Rinse with water on the next day.
      • Recommended daily.

    Egg

    Egg is favorite in the world of hair and beauty. It is use for face mask as well as hair mask. It is rich in sulphur, selenium, iodine, phosphorus, iron and zinc, which are all very helpful to the hair. Mix with a little amount of olive oil and you n instant answer to your hair loss woes.

    What to do:

      • Mix one egg white with 1 teaspoon olive oil.
      • Continue beating until you achieve a paste.
      • Massage to hair and scalp.
      • Allow to sit for a good 15 to 20 minutes.
      • Rinse with cool water and mild shampoo.

     Henna

    We have also known henna as an effective natural hair colorant. But now it is time to discover its power in strengthening one’s hair. Henna, apparantly, has ingredients that fights breakage and supports hair growth. Mix it with mustard for more effective results.

    What to do:

      • Combine 60 g of washed and dried henna leaves with 250 ml of mustard oil. You can also use dry powdered henna leaves.
      • Put to a boil until the leaves are adequately burnt.
      • Filter oil. You can use muslin cloth.
      • Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
      • Simply massage hair on a normal basis.

    Onion and garlic

    Sulphur is proven to increase hair growth. The exact reason that makes us cry whilst slicing onions. Thus, onion and garlic are not only an excellent pair for cooking, but also as a hair loss solution. Although this is not a very smell-friendly solution, it is certainly effective.

    What to do:

      • Extract juice from onion.
      • Let sit for 15 minutes.
      • Wash with water and mild shampoo.
      • Boil a few crushed cloves of garlic mix with coconut oil.
      • Let cool until bearable to apply.
      • Massage onto scalp.
      • Recommended 2 or 3 times a week.

     Aloe mixture

    What you'll need:

    • 3 fl oz of aloe juice
    • 15 fl oz of grape juice

    Mix everything and leave for 2-3 days. Make sure to shake the mixture occasionally. Massage into the hair roots on a daily basis.
