  • DIY Your Winter Hair Mask

    After all the celebration and all the styling that comes with it, you need to get back to your routine. When it is winter, you should know better not to tire on your hair care regimen. During the cold months, our hair tends to be more undernourished and drier than ever. And one way that is cheap to keep your hair healthy this season is by putting your hair in a regular hair mask treatment, which you can easily make! We’ll share you some interesting recipes we have comes across and we know that actually work. ;)

    Avocado and Coconut Milk Hair Mask

    • Avocado
    • 1 cup coconut milk
    • 2 tbsps olive oil
    1. Mix together all the ingredients.
    2. Warm the mask first before applying to hair.
    3. Let the mixture sit onto hair for about an hour before washing it out.

    Avocado Oil, Honey and Mayo Hair Mask

    • 2 tbsps organic avocado oil
    • 1 tbsp organic raw honey
    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    1. Pour in the ingredients in a bowl and then mix with a fork.
    2. Wash hair with warm water.
    3. Apply to hair and scalp.
    4. Comb with a wide-toothed comb.
    5. Wrap hair in a hot damp towel.
    6. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to 2 hours.
    7. Wash and shampoo hair.

    Banana and Almond Oil Hair Mask

    • 1 tsp almond oil
    • 1 banana
    1. Mix mashed banana and almond oil.
    2. Massage through hair focusing on the ends.
    3. Leave it on for about half an hour.
    4. Wash and condition hair.

    Coconut Milk and Honey Hair Mask

    • Coconut milk
    • Honey
    1. Mix the two ingredients together in a bowl.
    2. Pour in a soap container for easier application.
    3. Massage the mask onto hair at least two minutes.
    4. Allow the hair to absorb the mixture for about 30 minutes to an hour.
    5. Shampoo and rinse with cold water.

    Milk and Honey Hair Mask

    • 1 tsp honey
    • Milk
    1. Mix the honey with milk.
    2. Massage through hair from roots to tips.
    3. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
    4. Shampoo and wash hair with lukewarm water.

    Oatmeal Hair Mask

    • 1 tbsp organic coconut milk
    • 1tbsp oats
    1. Mix coconut milk and oats until it forms a paste.
    2. Lather and massage through hair.
    3. Leave it on for about 20-45 minutes.
    4. Wash hair with warm water.

    Peppermint and Avocado Hair Mask

    • 1 avocado
    • 1 tbsp honey
    • 1 tbsp loose peppermint tea
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    1. Mash your avocado before adding in the rest of the ingredients.
    2. Massage it through your hair, making sure you focus more on the ends.
    3. Leave it on for about half an hour.
    4. Wash and condition hair.

    Pumpkin and Honey Hair Mask

    • 1-2 tbsps honey
    • 1 cup pumpkin puree
    1. Mix the ingredients together.
    2. Apply generously onto hair.
    3. Wrap hair with a shower cap or a saran wrap.
    4. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
    5. Wash hair as you usually do.

    Vinegar and Yogurt Mask

    • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
    • ½ cup non-dairy coconut yogurt
    • ½ tsp honey
    1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
    2. Massage through hair during application.
    3. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
    4. Wash with warm water.
